TDR’s roots go back to the earliest academic papers dealing with motorcycle dynamics (for instance, V. Cossalter’s). To be able to replicate motorcycle physics as accurately as possible, we spent a lot of time studying the physics involved.
The tire physical model was created using industrial simulation formulas, such as Magic Formula by Pacjecka, which we based on and validated by industrial simulation formulas. The goal of the game was to provide an experience that is as close to real life as possible.
