The Dorfromantik game consists of a relaxing deck of cards and a puzzle in which you place tiles as they grow to create ever-refreshing village landscapes. With Dorfromantik, you can immerse yourself in a quiet, peaceful world at any time and take a break from everyday life. At the same time, Dorfromantik offers a challenge for those who are looking for one: To beat the high score, you need to carefully plan and strategically place your tiles.
A procedurally generated tile stack begins Dorfromantik. After placing the top tile on one of the slots, you rotate it for best fit. You receive points based on the fit of the tiles, such as forests, villages, or water bodies formed when groups are formed.
Other tiles may contain special objects that give you a quest, such as the windmill that wants to border six grain fields, the locomotive that wants to have 10 tracks, or the deer that wants to live in a forest with at least 50 trees. To expand your landscape, you need to complete these quests. Once the tile stack is empty, the game is over.
